How do I replace the door hinges???, Or Do I just weld the seem that is starting to seperat from the truck.
I'm at a complete lose here. I noticed it last night.

wow. I have never heard of that and yes I would say that would work just get a buddy to hold it in place and you weld. I know that when a door is replaced at my dad's shop they usually bolt it up there even though it is welded from the factory cause if you weld it wrong it is stuck that way.

Should I just pull them off and put all new hinges on? the truck is 15 years old.

my dad, a body man of 20 years said to take the doors off, drill 2, .5" holes around the area that is is pulling away at all the way through the hinge, vise grip it real hard then weld the holes up.

Well after exzamining it futher its just a little split in the seem nothing to big, But I would like to replace the door pins. How would I go about this? In hopes of that helping to prevent any futher damage to the seems.

replacing the pins and bushings is easy. youll need to get a special spring compressor for the door spring. compress the spring, take it out and then tap out the door pins with someone holding the door of course. tap out the old bushings and put the new ones on. take note that the top and bottom bushings are not the same size and are made of brass i believe so take care when tapping the new ones back in.
