ATTN: Mark .....or anybody that knows about Mirror Deletes

been trying to PM Mark about some mirror deletes for my '93, but i can't seem to get a reply...does anybody know if you can get them anywhere other than GM? i've priced them from the dealer and they told me $38...i've searched every salvage yard in the area and can't find any used ones...they came on trucks that ran the West Coast style mirrors, and most of those seem to be 1-tons...i really hate to pay that much for a little plastic, but it seems as though i might have to...i don't want to weld them up either...so, if anybody can help me out, i would greatly appreciate it...thanks

I'll check some other sources, but I don't think I'll have any luck with those pieces. I'll also see if I can do ya any better on the price. I'll check tonight, if I don't find anything, I'll let you know what I find in the morning when I get to work.

are they solid smooth on the outside? i know a while back you mentioned some having a recess in the plastic...i just want to make sure they're the smooth ones...if so, price sounds good...just let me know...thanks Mark

according to the picture, it is smooth. But I can;t promise you anything since I don't always get whats in the picture. Maybe someone who has purchased these from GM can tell you if they are or not.

well, i've spoken with one guy on GMfullsize before that has them, and he bought them new from the dealer...and they're smooth...all the ones i've seen on utility type trucks in the area are smooth as well
