Is there any company that makes a twin turbo setup for the OBS 5.7 silverado's?

That kit is disgustingly huge. With the turbos mounted in front like that, you will have to do some serious fab work to get it to fit.

not trying to knock anything, but i agree. I was looking into similar kits and have just decided to put one together myself. A kit like the one in the link above would interfere with my wheel tire combo quite badly. im not happy with the 14.5lbs per turbo either. i mean for a 1000 bucks i guess its not terrible, considering the extent of modifications you have to do to a standard holley 4150 carb. or something similar on your own. Just start doing your research check the yahoo groups and what not, ill post up the one im in shortyly i couldnt find it right this sec. A blown through setup is definatley a way to go in my opinion. To actually answer the question now,lol- i havent seen any major companys putting out kits other then banks...its alot of cash to drop though.

There was a member on GMfullsize that talked to banks about it (Vortec V8 5.7L) I think they said it would be around 6K for the parts

alot of those kits they wont sell the intercoolers. I started looking into the TT300zx or supra intercoolers for my setup. still think if you have the skill just fabbing your own kit would make it more worth while(money wise). Most of the kits ive seen out on ebay and wat not, the sellers dont even have a clue as to wat theyre selling.

as to my previous post last night heres the link to that yahoo group, pretty informative:

You wouldn't be limited to only 14.5lbs with those turbos. The wastegates are set to 14.5 lbs, but a boost controller can change that very easily, and most people who run turboed vehicles will run a boost controller be it manual or electronic.

You also need to remember that boost pressure is simply a measure of restriction, different turbos flow different volumes of air at the same pressure ratio. A lot of twin turbo setups will make huge power at 14-18psi.

I would say at first glance $1800 for what is included is a bargain!! I have to assume that the K-18 is a borg-warner/kkk wheel. I guess I'll have to do some google research. It would be nice if he had a bit more info on the turbos in the add.
