They are the chrome ones. Got them off ebay for $300.00 and did local pickup as they were only about 45 miles from me. If you did brushed then you may want the gray painted centers to match the wheels. Is your truck a 1500 6 bolt or 2500 8 bolt? mine is 8 bolt so I used H2. If yours is 6 bolt then you could use H3 wheels.
Click my sig for a bunch. Currently I have 03+ Tahoe Z71 wheels w/285s. Previously I had Denalis.

The rest of these are just various ones from the last 4 months. I need to get a new set of vent shades for the doors, but other than that it's staying as is for now. I'm looking to upgrade to a 6-speed Duramax in the near future.

I just upgraded from the stock wheels to the 07' Silverado Z71 wheels (18x8) - Firestone is running a deal ($50.00 off) when you buy a set of Destination A/Ts or M/Ts - but the biggest 18" they have are the 275/65. But I think they look pretty good.

I took this pic off ebay, but I just bought these same wheels yesterday with NEW tires - from the local chevy dealer.... for 300 bucks! Mounted and Ballanced! They sold a truck with a set of 22's so these were "laying around the back"! Gotta love craigslist!
I bought em so I can at least get drop spindles now (for 17"+ wheels). I prolly won't put em on till I do the drop though.

I got kinda screwed with my truck because i've just got the 5 lug axles. All the good looking wheels are 6 lug. My truck just had the base Cheyenne steel wheels with trim rings and little plastic center caps. I found the ones in my sig at a junkyard and found the 5 lug center caps at a hubcap place here in austin. IMO, the best looking rims on an nbs are the SS rims. I know a guy who has them and I love the way they look on the 03-06 trucks. They look small on the Tahoes, but huge on the trucks. And what is this winter tire stuff, I never have to deal with that here in texas.

The 73-87 5 lug 15x8 ralley wheels look good with the narrow trim rings from a truck like yours and a set of Astro van center caps. I have this setup on my 74 blazer. I am going to get bigger tires once I am ready to drive this thing. These tires were free so they work for rolling around the garage. I think this setup would look good on the 88-98 5 lug trucks as well.

I've been thinking about doing an OEM swap for a while. I'd like to put 18" Z71 wheels (like lugnut has on his truck) on a 2004.
I know the wheels will fit but I have a question about the tires. I've been told that a set of take-offs would mount on the truck fine and not rub or anything. But, being a bigger size are they going to cause any problems beyond throwing off the speedometer/odometer and affecting gas mileage?
In other words, if I buy some unused or low-mileage take-offs and drive around on them for 40,000 or 50,000 miles is that going to be a problem? Or should I go ahead and put new tires that will match the width and diameter of stock right away?
Thanks,

The 73-87 5 lug 15x8 ralley wheels look good with the narrow trim rings from a truck like yours and a set of Astro van center caps. I have this setup on my 74 blazer. I am going to get bigger tires once I am ready to drive this thing. These tires were free so they work for rolling around the garage. I think this setup would look good on the 88-98 5 lug trucks as well.
Pics please?
Would my '05 Wheels fit on my '87 with the locking hubs? I know I couldn't use the center caps without punching a hole in them if they did fit.

I'm actually thinking of doing this exact swap (except the wheels I have now are the chrome version of what you had). I was searching Craigslist, but the Tahoe wheels and the wheels I have seem to have a different width? It would be nice if I could buy the Tahoe wheels and throw my tires on it. Do the Tahoe wheels require different size tires or could I just throw my P235/75R16s on them?
Edit: Turns out they are actual Suburban wheels that I am looking at on Craigslist. Are the Suburban wheels and Tahoe wheels different widths or do I just not understand tire sizes?
16 x 8. Tires are 265 x 70 x 16 but very worn. Rims are in excellent condition with centercaps and lugnuts.

Would the 96 Impala SS wheels fit? Those are pretty stylish wheels. I think they're 17's with a 5X5 bolt pattern, I'm not sure on that though.

Yeah the pickups had them as well except that they were wider. You can tell by the thin painted spokes, they are inset on the truck wheels and almost flush on the astro wheels.

They are a major PITA to keep up though. I'm not sure what alloy they are, but it seems to be softer than other aluminum wheels I've had. I'll need to sand those with 2000 grit a couple times per year to keep them looking good.

It might not be so bad if I were to spray them with clear or something. I sanded all the factory paint off them and polished the aluminum up. I've tried sealers, wax, etc. They keep getting pitted/gouged very easily no matter what though.

What did you do to change your rearend to a 6lug. I am just starting to research how to upgrade my sons 97 from 5x5 to 6x5.5And...would it be possible to lower the ride height a bit more without rubbing?? I like the look you got going on there.

Thanks. Used 4x4 10bolt rear and 2500 rotors. must use belltech pn 2500 spindles for bearings to fit. Must use 92-98 calipers. I rub right now, but factory sway bar helps. I think i have positive camber, taking to alignment shop tomorrow. Only rubs once per 50-100 miles or so, and I'm in rural area. I can go right over railroad tracks and stuff, it's the instant bumps when I'm doing 55+ mph that scrub. You could roll fenders and reshape inner fenders a tad to go 4/6. Mine is 3/4... not sure if using 2500 spindles on '91 truck is what caused it to look like a 2/4, but take it for what it is. Coils are sitting in spring pockets nicely, so I don't know ;).
I will start a new thread with EVERY SINGLE TINY CONSIDERATION that must be taken into account and post more photos of the truck very soon, with measurements. Today I am installing an Edelbrock tubular exhaust system and a new 3" catco converter, hopefully it won't sound like its choking on it's own exhaust after that, and hopefully it will smell better too.

New wheels, 2 off an astro, 2 off something else, not noticeable unless you look for it. Centre caps off an astro too.

Better pic, the design I like less of the two.

This is my truck. I use the 18" Titans up front for beater wheels b/c my 2" drop spindles require a 17"+ wheel and my stockers are 16's.
