I have a 1996 1500 extended cab. For the past few weeks the driver side interior door handle has been sticking and I have had to lean on the door to get it to pop open. This morning it did not open and now the door handle kind of flops around. Is this a common problem and is the fix a pain or is it easy. The Haynes manual (or is it a Chilton - forget I have both) indicates I will have to drill out some pop rivets to remove the door handle assemply. Just trying to get some advise before I dig into it. Anything I need to watch out for any tricks to fix it with out drilling out rivets and replacing the whole assembly? I figure the door panels are held in place with a few screws and push pins that a flat tool can ease them out - pretty normal.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated
