If you already have a laptop and half-way know what you're doing then i'd spring for hptuners.

yeah..starting do do some reasearch so after spring break i can spend some of my hard earned money

Custom tune, either wait4me or westers. Or like stated above HPTuners or similar.

Handheld programmers are limited, mainly because they don't usually affect torque managment.

I like the AEM bruteforce, mainly for the polished/chromed tube and oil-less filter... but the K&N 77series also has a shiney tube :P
