throttle body coolant bypass

Well I bouhgt the BBK 80MM ported and polished throttle body
No big deal - But now I bought (Ebay)
a coolant bypass for the throttle body ($20.00) and good results from these?? I know the add ons never stop with men's toys
But just wondering if the advertized HP gains are close (8HP)
Worst part - in the winter I'm going to have to reverse it
but I'm thinking 2 mini valves (Wax On-Wax Off)

I wish I would have known. I would have had you send me only $15 (that way you save $5) and I would have told you that you don't need a 'kit'. The coolant line reaches all the way. I also would have told you that the most you would ever see out of that in the best of conditions is maybe ~1 horsepower...

Yeah dude, sorry to say, but you pretty much got burned on that coolant bypass deal. I'd try to get my money back or something.

So much for after market advertizing - Most bolt ons - whatever they promise you - cut it in half _ my problem with the coolant bypass is I live in Penna - So in the winter I'm gonna have to go back THANX!!!

Your right, it's all about Men and their FSC but don't tell me you put LT's on and squished it all through a Y pipe and 1 cat?

No - Dynatech's come a big collector that bolts to the 2 cats that bolt right up to the Corsa catback - It's 2 big pipes all the way back to the catback system -Had them ceramic coated to keep the engine compartment heat down and to eliminate the tinny sound of headers
