LT1 swap in a 89 C1500/5speed short bed

Good afternoon to all,
Has anyone tried this swap? i have an 1989 chevy 1500 / 5speed short bed with an 4.3, i also have an 1994 5.7 LT1 engine from a chevy caprice.I was wondering can i drop the LT1 into the pick up with little or no modifcation to chassis because of where the A.C. unit sits on right lower corner of engine this would be a great swap. A EFI 5.7 LT1, a vett 6speed and a supercharger. But i dont want to make any modfications to chassis. cause if i had to id just go with a 383 stroker straight bolt in :tongue:

from what i have seen they are a drop in and the trcks i have seen don't have any frame mods to clear the a/c pump.i would go for it!infact if you search the forum you will see a few Lt1 1500s
