Ok so I lifted the truck and am running some big meats and my stock brakes arn't cutting it. I have damn near run up on a couple peoples trunks when traffic stoped quickly. What do I need to do? I have been told I need to upgrade my rotors. I have no idea on what to order for my truck. I am going to buy online and have a budy help me install. Give me some hints on what to do as far as pads, rotors, and maybe even new calipers. I would like to keep it in the $300-$500 range. I think I better fix this before I regear and make everything even worse. Help me out guys.
Thanks,
Dan

I use powerslot rotors and ceramic pads on the front, with my drums in the rear I use ceramic pads. It stops WAYYY better than stock. 4.56 gears and 315/75/16's and 6inch lift on mine
Change the rotors and new pads. You might even get away with resurfacing the old ones and putting new ceramic pads on all 4 wheels
I think NAPA sells lifetime ceramic pads and resurfaces rotors for like 20 bucks. I don't think you need to replace the calipers- that could get expensive

big rotor kit. New oversized rotors, uses stock calipers but supplies new caliper bracket to accomodate larger rotors.

How much bigger rotors can I get by with because I still have 16" rims?

I've got stock diameter rotors but there cross drilled & slotted. They're Aimco brand, picked them up at carquest last year.
