two tone paint opinions

Im getting to the point where i need to pick my paint colors. I was thinking black and silver, but now im thinking black and a darker silver color. May with some metallic. And I cant decide if black should be on bottom or top, or if I should go with another color scheme. Suggestions, pictures, comments, would be appreciated!!!

That looks nice, and I was thinking the same thing. A couple shades darker with some metallic would probably look sweet

black on top will make the roof line look lower and wont get as dirty as it will on the bottom, but it looks better on the bottom.

gunmetal metallic(with black on bottom still) would look good in that scheme 454ss posted, and to be honest that was the scheme i was always gonna paint that truck with.

My friend that paints suggested the same thing. Hows it going Brandon? That beastly camaro still running good? You should try to bring it down to Ocala for the 2nd anual all Chevy show at Silver Springs this October.

its going good. its running good so far, but still with some bugs to work out before ii hopefully pulls 500/500 on a dyno.i was actually thinking about getting down there to that show this year, so it might happen.

keep with the updates on the truck, btw...are you modding the motor yet or waiting to finish the major stuff on the outside?

Pink? That's Phat Yo! I think all one color looks better, but the black/grey is the best for the two tone.

Black on top looks stealthy with dark windows but a silver on the bottom with a metalic grey on top would look good.

thats because your lazy, but i would go for a dark silver on the top and black on the sides with somekind of bright color to split them

im doing mine black on top and 07 eclipse rotor glow on bottom not where im breaking the 2 tone its just edged

Yeah, go with a higher body line for the split of the two colors, the one right below the windows, and keep it clean and simple, just two colors.

Black on top with any color will look good bro, I think blending the windows into the black paint would have a stealthier effect, but it's a GM, it'll look good anyway.

Man Ive been busy, hitting it hard again on bodywork. I really want to get this thing back together.

Im not sure how I will be modding the motor, Once its painted I will start thinking about that. I will probably get with you on advice.
