what do yall think is a good deal on getting the tail gate handle on my 95 chevy shaved off and possible having the same person remove the large Chevrolet banner that goes all the way across? also what all is involved so that i can possibly negotiate with the body man?
unbolt the handle from the backside of the gate and undo the clips holding the rods onto the handle, place the template on the back side of the gate, mark and cut the area needed. set the relocator plate in place and drill the needed holes, and screw it down. install handle by connecting the rods again and bolt down handle.
flip the gate and make a filler piece(if not provided) and weld and do your mud work. prime, block, reprime if needed, block, prep, seal, paint.
i shave gates and paint em for 300

I did mine on my 93. Not hard to do. The welding was tedious.

$40 for the bracket and filler piece, about $120 to get the filler piece welded on and filled, $200 for paint unless you're good friends with a paint and body guy

do the handle yourself if you can (its really not that hard) and get a shop to paint it.
