Ok...let me lay this out for you all since I think I finally have my bills and finances in order where all my xtra money can go to my bags and stuff.

I have an engine driven compressor, step notch, rear bags, and valves plus 1/2" line.

I need a front bag setup, rear 4-link, tanks, and fittings....so that's cool

What kind of 4-link do you all recommend. I know that tony has theirs..but I have to pay for the bolt on panhard bar...which I don't want since I'm running a custom wishbone track locator. I see the pete and jakes one for 325..but is it going to be too short? What do you ahve scrapin'? What's your brand grounded? I'm just looking to find different options for four links. If I don't find something that I agree with..i'll just build my own..but I'm lazy....I've had the parts sitting in my garage for 2 years now to build one.

Mine was custom fabbed. The P&J one should work for you, if not I'm pretty sure they can make one in the legnth you need.

If not I'd look into the P&J. :D

Well I talked to larry about it and he said I'd have to order the one with the panhard bar and then he would buy it back from me.....which seems like quite a hassle really. Maybe tony will chime in and hook a brother up with a quality 4-link for a decent price.

I've discussed many things here in the past year..so I don't know...I'm starting to feel like lowc-10 with all the mind changing.

You can't imagine how many times I keep going back and forth about whether or not to cut my bed. Man...>I tell you...it's crazy.

Hey *****! I have two different templates...it's just a competition between the two that is causing problems.

If your going to make a wishbone locator, why not have it double as the upper bars? And after building that, why not also just make the bottom bars? That is probably the best way to get what you want.

And it will all be custom so those texas guys won't laugh at you

No I haven't used any KP parts, nor have I heard much about them. I very rarely use any "kits", because so much of what I do is full custom, I find it easier to just start from scratch and build it all myself. If you don't have a hook up for the KP stuff, email me before you buy and I will see what their dealer buy in is like. And maybe get you a deal.

That's what I figured larry...I'm just way to lazy to actually get out their and do it...Now comes some good questions....when building my four link...should I just make the top two bars adjustable? or all four? Give me some hints here buddy old pal.

If you are going to mount the bags off the lower bars, I would not make them adjustable. If you are not mounting the bags on them, make one end adjustable. Make the upper wishbone adjustable on both ends in either case. In the few wishbones that I have built, I prefer to use a large, like 3/4 x 5/8, heim on the end with one pivot. But use bushings on the rest of the pivots. If you haven't seen Air Ride's new catalog, they have a lot of backets/ bushings in it that might help you out. If I can help in any way, let me know.

Now get off your ass and get going:tongue:

Thanks, I'll be answering emails a little later.
I don't have an FSC because I use my fullsize to tow with and I needed something reliable:D So I got a ford

AirRide has their 2003 catalog out... or at least I got mine last week. It has a lot of cool stuff in it. And now I know what all they sell... and what it costs. LMAO.

I dunno what your smokin..but all the phurds I've seen lately have been on the back of flatbeds.

Hmm...I'll have to call up my buddy tony and have em send me out a new catamalog. I'm not sure I want to spend 29 bucks a piece for the rod ends when I can make 8 of them for that price though. Damn...I need to stop being so lazy....I could be a millionaire. That's it..i'm opening my own shop....Justin's Copy of Air Ride Technology.

Like my name? :D
