I'm not sure but I would think you would have to raise the bed floor just to body drop it

^^^^he is probably running mandral bent rails, im not sure on a OBS but i know on a NBS you could run a 2 piece drive shaft and that would end your problem

the only way to run the actual stock floor of the bed is to build the frame lower to compensate. But then you are going to have a lot of frame comming into the bed. What are you trying to accomplish. Are you wanting to have a smooth bed floor with no holes? Or are you just wanting the deepst bed possible with a notch hole cut out?

Here you go..... The drive shaft comes within an inch from the bottom of the bag mounts.... the fram is setup to utilize the stock floor location... I think I need to put a tunnel in the front part of the ped to clear the drive shaft............

how close is the top of the notches to sticking over your bed rails? I'd assume the driveshaft will hit the bed pretty severely.

you are going to have a lot of your bed cut out just to fit around that notch. I would assume as well that you will have to make a tunnel at the front of the bed for the driveshaft.

I know it looks like they are tall but they arn't.... You have to visualize the lower fram rails sit on the ground..... With the over the top cantilever style with full lift of the bag the whole thing sets 2" below the top of the bed.... And I have decided to just sheet metal that part of the bed..... I still have to compansate for the tri-4 link uper bars....... Do I need to have a pan hard bar or not if I do the tri 4 link......http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/9/web/2601000-2601999/2601197_33_full.jpg

if you have a good enough angle on the upper bars then you will not need a panhard

what leverage ratio are you running the bags at? looks to me about 1:1

I Need to know what type of angle I will need..... And dose it go towards the driver side or passenger.....

The ratio is more like 1:1.3. With 7.5" on bag I can get almost 10" if I give it more air........ I moved the bag closer when I welded it than what the picture is showing.....

ideally you want the bars to meet at a 90 degree angle for a triangulated 4 link. Get as close to that as you can and you should be good.

Damn really? That seems next to impossible to achieve.

Here is a stupid little paint drawing that I did. I am by no means and expert, this is just how I understand it. The red are the upper bars and the blue are the lower bars. You have to imagine where the upper bars would meet, this is represented by the yellow lines. As you can see the last one where the angle is not enough the intersection point of the upper bars is way behind the truck.
If there is someone that knows better or if this is wrong please chime in.
