a friend was wondering if he can put the 2002 corvette seats in his silverado. also would like to know the price for each seat, and part number. thanx
I'd guess buying them over the counter would be some BIG $$.
There are aftermarket seats that look just like the OEM ones. I think they sell some through Mid America Corvette (http://www.madvet.com/) as well as others.

You can put any seat in any vehicle. All it takes is the right brackets. Vette seats won't be a bolt-in deal. He'll have to have brackets made.

if I remember correctly, vette seats are kinda funky in their mounting...like one track is longer than the other or something like that..maybe it was one was higher and one was lower...I don't remember..either way..it wont be easy or cheap.

I was considering buying those. If I can't get my Ventura seats to work, I still might get them.

I have sat in them before and if i remember right they are a little firm compared to my stock seats. But the side bolsters sure do hold you in the seat on the corners. I beleive that they are about the same size as my stock buckets too....maybe about 3" shorter but that difference could be made with the brackets id imagine.

ummm, yeah...that's the way I'D do it:crazy: :bull: :bull: :D
