If i get a custom PCM tune and have my rear o2 sensors deleted, will my truck run right if I take out my cats. Appreciate it, Blake

Yes, the rear sensors are just to monitor the cats.

Thanks. Also Im looking to replace my manifolds with edelbrock headers,would anyone suggest going with 2.5" or 2.25" pipe off the headers.It'll be going into a x-pipe and then into dual Super 44s. Thanks, Blake

go with 2.5" you can't go wrong with 2.5. Oh, I know this is off topic, but how do you like your wheatley tune?

I like it really well, just when you buy yours, have him tune out the rear 02 sensors. you'll wonder why you waited so long to get a tune. i've heard alot of people say dual, full length, from headers back 2.5" is too big.

I have true dual straights from header back, but still have stock cats, but I didn't lose anything on the bottom end, im actually positive I gained some torque from low to mid, but I gained more horse in top end.

true duals with 2.5 tubing sound good.. but unless you have some mods done to make more exhaust flow like a cam, intake, and a tune, you will loose some low end. But you should be fine running that size especially with headers.

Like fabtech_chevy said, it's a bit on the large side for a complete true dual setup, but as long as you keep cats inline, you'll be fine. However, if you run dual 2.5" pipes to a single 3" exit, it's perfect - no loss.
