I'd bet my lunch it's a custom. I don't think I've seen a factory extended cab fullsize GM truck older than an 88. Crew cabs, sure.
My lunch is chicken stuffed with ham and cheese, mashed taters, and corn if anyone wants to take me up on my bet.

Oh yeah, that's definitely a custom. A more recent one even. Typically, extended cabs from those years were aftermarket conversions that looked like ass.
They are all custom :D
You could buy one back then, but it was done aftermarket.

Ad says that it was made into a extended cab 15 years ago. It looks pretty dang cool but a little out of place so to speak for me. I would rock it though.

there were no "factory" crewcabs before 1977, everything before that was custom built, though there were companies who did crewcab conversions before that for special fleet use. nothing in an extended cab for GM until the S10 came out in the early 80s

Yes its in town, i been emailing him, this is what he said when i asked for more info
"I have been driving it a lot since I have had it. Not many miles on the trany as the 700R4 was installed to help out with the low gears in the rear end. The engine was a crate motor and not sure how many miles are on it. There is no rust that I have saw and I was told that the extended part of it was done in Sacramento in 1992 but not sure which shop."
I am gonna try and set up a looky loo time.. I have the dough, but this means id wouldnt be able to restore the 75....hmmm...

dude, i'm the same way. when i went to look at my truck, i SHOULD have turned away. yes, it was all-original, but it was a LOW optioned truck, and the 305 was so carboned up it wouldn't go over 55 on the freeway. it was so weak it couldn't pull a sick whore outta bed. i do believe there is a such thing as "TOO original". i mean, it had its basic maintenance, but some things that should have been done weren't. it's hard to explain. but as much as i love my truck i'm damn glad that i am like i am. i can't imagine not having it now. it's a great project!

I have a build thread you can peek at but basically i want a clean looking truck
new paint
rims and tires prolly kragers or similar
redo the interior to a more plush and comfortable area...
300 hp under the hood hopefully or close..
Looking to keep it looking classic
Will have a good clean flow about it ..I hope
