im really getting tired of thinking of funny similies for people not giving enough info...

What are you looking for in subs? ridiculously loud? clean sounding?

also keep in mind your budget has to include an enclosure and wiring

Another words its do-able, but the componets will not be that great.

well i have a buddy that builds custom boxes so thats of no concern, i have all my wiring from previous install, and the only thing you really needed to know is that i would rather clean over loud...anything else you need to know dick??

i think you need to get some more money because like Silv3rado Own3r said, the stuff you get wont be great, but if its all you can spend then im sure we can think of a few things, but if you want CLEAN or LOUD then why not just go with one nice 12 with decent power to it just my .02

$500-700 isn't enough to buy 3 12's, an amp, wiring, and wood for an enclosure. Hell it isn't really enough to buy 2.

Also, to do this we need to know exactly how much space you have to give up. The enclosure is as important as the driver choice and without knowing how big it can be you cannot choose drivers.

Why not spend that on 2 15" subs and you can get better gear.... And its not really smart to act like that to someone who was trying to help you....

it just seemed like he was coming off in a sort of smart manner...ok well i have all my wiring and my box is gettin built for free from a buddy of mine..he owes me a favor and this is it...as far as the subs and amp goes thats why im lookin for opionios... FSC you said ur 3 12s are overkill what do u have and what are you pushin it for..i dont drive this truck daily whereas i would be spending around $500 in gas a week as you all can imagine, so no disrespect meant towards bassballer i may have taken you the wrong way...but anyways any opinions guys, thanks i appreciate it, Ryan

Or go with two JLW6'S and those will kill most 12's, sometimes bigger isnt always better

im running 3 JL Audio 12W6v2 pushed by a JL Audio 1000.1
i have thought about taking one of those subs out and putting it in my grand prix (since its all stock) and just leaving two in there and im still pretty sure it will be plenty

With $500 you should buy one good 12 and an amp, that is all you have a budget for.

He could get 2 decent 12" subs with that... 2 fi ssd's or q's would be doable with that budget... Unless it includes an amp too... Then you are pretty stuck with one 12 and an amp...
