a buddy of mine recently got the cats cut off of his truck and is now running true duals w/ 40 series flows, the shop that put them on used spark plug defowlers to move the o2 sensors out of the pipe and it keeps the check engine light off, has anyone else ever heard of/ done this? what are some other alternatives to keeping the light off?

I personally tried it on my truck when I cut the cats out, I bought two sets of Non-foulers. Drilled out one set and than double stacked the foulers... It didn't work. Well, it did for 400 miles. But than eventually the SES clicked on due to downstream O2's.
I than went out and bought O2 Sims. And it's the wrong kind so I still have an SES but now for downstream O2 and the heated O2 circuit

You could get a custom tune. That will take care of the ses light.

Yup it can be done. To save you money on a tune. But you have to remember they get hot so you need to protect them from the elements etc. and of course plug the holes. de foulers can be used or you can buy o2 plugs. as well:argue:
