Odometer dont ODO anymore

I recently bought a 1990 Z71 C1500 from one of my friends, i knew the odometer didn't work on it when i bought it but i wasn't to concernd. No i would like to try and fix it because i have the time on my hands to do it. so any help that anyone can give me on how to make it odo again it would be greatly appriciated, thanx

If it is a mechanical odometer and the speedometer works it probably has stripped gears. That is a common problem. If there is a speedometer repair shop in your area it may be best to take it to them. The parts are hard to find for anybody not in the business.

i would just go to the junkyard buy the odometer from a similar model truck and replace and go as necessary. cheap fix.
