I want to know if someone makes a Silverado SS Bumper (not a cover),
that will bolt up to my 2002 RCSB and replace the stock bumper.

Also i'll be getting a rollpan in the rear and an HD Hood, i already have the factory Silverado SS rims sitting NIB in my garage waiting for the other mods and a set of 295/45r20's to wrap around them.

Even the factory SS bumpers are a cover...no one makes a whole SS bumper assembly that bolts on. You're going to have to use a cover that goes over the factory bumper.

BTW, plans for the truck sound good...post up some pics when you get it done.

what are ur opinions on the SS bumper cover from street scene? i have a bent bumper and a new one is about 300bucks, i would much rather get a cover. but i have seen some that look horrible and some that fit great.

Now I dont know about for the silverado but my old f150 had a full lightning kit from street scenes on it and the fitment was excellent!

A quick picture for reference! No Ford Bashing, that truck was nice in its day!

no ford bashing here man. but yea thats pretty much my question, how well do there bumper covers fit. and yours looked pretty good for a bumper cover. i am just trying to avoid have the bumper stick out like a bad chin job. i would want to tuck it in so it fits nice and tight.

Yeah, Mine didnt stick out excessively at all. I was really happy with how tight it fit the bumper. You could always recess the factory bumper back a little bit. I did it on my Silverado, moved it back and up 3/4" from factory. Gave it a much tighter and cleaner look and took that horrible gap out of between the bumper and grill.

that might be what i will have to do. i want it to fit close to stock and avoid the jay leno chin look that i have seen when most people just use the two screws and double sided tape.

Lots of people run the Street Scene SS covers...they look/fit great.

i have seen some doen that look like it came from the factory then i have seen some that sag bad and just never look right. i like the idea of tucking in the OEM bumper so that the cover fits tighter tho.

I've seen oem and street scene ss bumper covers that look good
and that sag. Depends on how well thet were put on and what kind
of life they endured while on the truck. For the '02, only thing
I've seen is the street scene cap and it looked really good on
the trucks I've seen it on. Matter of fact there are some in the
gallery sections. Just have to look for them.

the hd hood isnt gonna line up well with the regular grill shell. i wanted to do the hd hood with the hd grill and an ss bumper but i didnt think it would match up because you need to get a hd bumper pad.

Wrong...the HD hood will bolt right onto a 1500 w/ the 1500 grille. The black truck the OP posted is just a regular 1500 w/ the HD hood bolted on.

nah, you heard wrong...the top of the HD grille and 1500 grille are the same, the HD hood fits just like the 1500 one.

In fact, there's 2 members on here (1 w/ a reg. 1500 and 1 w/ a2500HD) and they swapped hoods...they fit perfectly.

i had an HD hood till i had a run in with a chicken in the road. smashed my grille shell and tweaked out my hood. so i put the stock one back one. but i never had any fitment issues.
