Wait4me tune. WOW!!!!!!!!

I just got back from Jesse's house.(owner of wait4me performance} I had him tune my 06 Silvy 5.3 and my 96 Yukon 5.7. I can't believe the difference in my 06. This thing screams, and it got 1.8mpg better on the way home. He does GREAT work. I will put the computer back in the yukon tomorrow and see how that does. Best $125 I have ever spent!!!! And that was for both trucks. Thanks again Jesse.

Did he retune a stock setup or were you having troubles with bolt ons?

Didn't you get the 87-89 tune. If so, running 91 in it is a waste of money and doesn't make a difference in performance.

He told me that he didn't really have different tunes for 87/91/93octain. The computer will add more timing when you run higher octane. I had 87 octain in the tank and it made a big deference! Upgaded power, stronger shifts, higher shift point at full throttle, and it made a big improvement! The truck was stock except for a k&n cold air kit.
I havent installed the one in the Yukon yet.

What did you order? Did you tell him you were not happy? Have you tried 93 octane? He will retune it for free. If you that unhappy, send it back for a retune. Jesse is a really cool guy and great at custom tunes!!!! His stoker Caddy make 863hp and thats his daily driver.

I ordered:

100% of TM and abuse mode removed
Higher, harder shifts
Idle to 700rpm
Speedo calibration for 285/70/17 and 3.73

I will contact him today and see what needs to happen to get it sent back and re-tuned. It won't even turn a tire now with this tune.

I have 3.23s and it will spin them know no problem. You just need to send it back to him and tell him what you want out of it. Call him and talk it over. the # is on his site.

Just installed the pcm back in the yukon and took it for a spin. I had a hypertech maxenergy tune in it before. The full throtle runs seem to pull the same, maybe a little stronger, but the shifts are firmer with the new tune. NOW, there is a BIG difference in part throttle accel!!!! The hypetech tune did nothing for this, but the new tune is A LOT better!. Lets face it, your not driving pedal to the floor all the time with these gas prices!! The 06 was a bigger improvement, but I expected that. The 5.7 computers SUCK!! I would recommend this to anyone!!!! Both trucks engines are stock accept for CAI's. Hope this helps you.
