dash swap question

I have the dash shell from my 96 and I want to swap it into my 91,problem is I used the dash brace(the large metal piece underneath)as the starting point for the fiberglass one in my 96.

Can I use the brace out of the 91?Is it somewhat close that I can modify it to fit?Or should I start searching for another dash?

the brace is completely different. begin your search at the junkyards for a new brace off a dash that is messed up.
