I'm trying to decide on what I should get so I thought that I may as well ask you guys. At the moment, everything I have is stock.
Here is my proposed audio system list:
Profile AP1000 160W x 2 Car Amp (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-w56X1eWwvjy/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=489AP1000&s=0&cc=01)
JVC KD-PDR40 CD Receiver (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-w56X1eWwvjy/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=105KDPDR40&s=0&cc=01)
MTX RT12X2A Dual 12" Road Thunder Sealed Enclosure (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-w56X1eWwvjy/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=236RT12X2A&s=0&cc=01)
Alpine SPS-17C2 6-1/2"/6-3/4" 2-way Car Speakers (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-w56X1eWwvjy/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=500SPS17C2&s=0&cc=01)
Now what I am considering is ripping out the back seat in order to accommodate for the sub, because there is no way it will fit without me doing otherwise.
Just so that you can see what I'm talking about, heres a few pics of my truck:

I was hoping to find out if you guys had any suggestions on how I should go about doing this, or if any of you could suggest some different equipment.
Thanks,
JT

Crutchfield is a good place to buy from sometimes, but look around. You can get MUCH better stuff for about the same price.

Not ideal components but i think you will be happier with components over coaxials. PG

Start with a budget, I don't really like any of the gear you picked. Let us know your goals as well.

Damn that looks exactly like my old truck lol excpet mine was a sierra, I suggst going with Pioneer for most of your components. I have 1 10" pioneer under my back seat in a custom box and it pounds like crazy. You can also get 12's that fit under your back seat. Check out my cardomain link it has all my components listed

Budget is preferred to be in the hundreds, but I'll go as high as two grand if it's really worth it.
As for goals, I think it's pretty much the same as most other people. Get the best system out there with a good balance between sound quality and loudness, for the right price.

Don't shop Crapfield. They're ridiculously overpriced.

Shop ebay as much as you can. Really good prices. And if not ebay go through like sonic electronix or something. If you have a budget up to two grand, your probably looking to rip out your back seat. But I've had experiences with JVC, Panasonic, Sony, and Pioneer HU's. And honestly I can say I like Pioneer the best. And probably JVC and Sony were the worst. But then again it could just have been the models I bought. And if you have a budgen of 2k stay away from Profile amplifiers. You can find good quality refurbished amps for pretty cheap. Just look around. If you can stick to component sets, as you will be much happier with them over coaxials. Much better SQ. Those road thunder subs really look like poop. I would really prefer a single sub set up as you dont have much room under the back seat. A seat lift might be an option for you.

I'm looking for suggestions on what I should do with the seat and what equipment I should get now. My problem is that I haven't heard anything other than stock speakers, so I can't really make a decision on personal experiences.

not a fan of pioneer subs. or speakers unless they are premeir series.

Personally i would too. but i kind of figured he would rather save the money and put it towards the front stage.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm pretty sure I'll just lift up the backseat a few inches instead of taking it out.
So I've narrowed it down to these with all of your suggestions:
Head Unit: JVC KD-HDR1 (http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6913_JVC+KD-HDR1.html) OR Pioneer DEH-P4000UB (http://sonicelectronix.com/item_11103_Pioneer+DEH-P4000UB.html) (Leaning towards the JVC for the preset buttons and HD radio)
Front Speakers: Infinity Kappa 60.7cs (http://sonicelectronix.com/item_4295_Infinity+Kappa+60.7CS.html) ??? (Not sure about this)
Rear Speakers: Stock
Subwoofer: JL Audio 10W6v2-D4 (http://sonicelectronix.com/item_4009_JL+Audio+10W6v2-D4.html)
Amp: (No idea)
(And to the poster above me, it depends on the prices of the seperate amps)
Thoughts?

JL price/performance ratio is way out of wack. Much better equipment could be had for less.
If you are wanting super great subs that will last a lifetime, look into Digital Designs. Handbuilt in OKC.
If DD is too much for ya, look into their sister company, Audioque. Same basic build designs, but from overseas. Will still last a very long time.
Amps....Sundown, Hifonics, Memphis, just to name a few.
Crutchfield sucks, buy direct as much as possible.

I suggest changing your rear speakers, i did and man if you could hear my truck youd agree its worth it. My truck is LOUD and super clear for just a decently priced system. I can crank it and its still clear. Also if you get a proper box and your just gunna run 1 10" you dont need to lift the seat, check out my cardomain page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2184611/4
Mine fits right under my back seat with no problems

just un-hook your rear speakers. they will only mess up your front stage.
I would run the pioneer over the JVC. pioneer has a much better track record.
not a bad choice for components but there are much better out there in that price range.

I would run the pioneer over the JVC. pioneer has a much better track record.I wouldn't run this year's lineup of Pioneer headunits either. The P6000UB I had for a while and the P4000UB (which you're looking at) that I tested both had some nasty background noise that no one could get rid of. [edit] Read about it... (http://community.crutchfield.com/forums/thread/20008.aspx)
Look at Alpine, Eclipse, Kenwood Excelon...
