Ive been listening to youtube clips of exhaust setups like crazy this last week and trying to find the right sound for my rig. I like the deep , throaty muscle, raspy sound without poppin.

The car is my ī96 Yukon 2door susp lifted 8" with must have catīs due to inspection rules.
Today it has double cats going into single muffler and single exhaust pipe exiting behind right rear wheel.

Ive been thinking about buying Edelbrock Ti-tech ceramic headers and
2 Flowmaster Super 40 with turndowns somewhere over the rear axle,
same side offset. 2.5" Single in/out.

Will this work,.. anybody?

The header/muffler setup will work, though I would suggest a 3" single over the 2.5" single. If you're looking at dual inlet/outlet, the 2.5" would be ideal.

I don't know about the rules/laws in Sweden, but in the US, the exhaust has to exit outside the cabin area - behind tire(s), rear bumper, etc. For SUVs this basically means that turndowns are illegal.

I left the stock manifolds and Y-pipe and bought a magnaflow stainless cat and a stainless dynomax ultra flow muffler with a 3" inlet and dual 2-1/2" outlets to two exit pipes one out of each side. I went with the high polished stainless pipe, it looks chrome like my nerf bars, I like it very very much
