i called vic hubbard's (if your in nor cal you know them) and said they have the headers i want. edelbrock's ti-tech shortys. they quoted me $325, and summit was $295. Most online will give you a better deal, so i said hey thats a really good deal not having to wait 5 days and pay shipping, and just go pick them up right away for only $25 more. when i got there, i looked at the box and it had a fat stamp on the side says for GM 99-03 trucks. i have a 97, and im like hey these are not for my truck. the model number was 65013, i needed 65103! so im panicing cuz i drove 20 miles to pick it up.. now for nothing? but he quoted me the wrong headers, so i showed him the one i wanted off summit. the edelbrock ti-techs for $295. he said, ok i can match that exact price and have it to you tomorrow morning, they are in our tucson warehouse it will ship over night and i will have it shipped right to my door tomorrow, for free. so after tax it was about $320, and having it delivered to me. pretty good deal i would say :cool:
