i am just running a three inch pipe off of my stock cat on my 91 and it has a very deep mellow sound. i wouldnt think yours would be too much different. just run a piece of flex pipe clamped on for now.

yea, i know someone that will weld it on for free, so i was thinknig since the extreme is very loud, it cant be that much louder, and i like that sound, and with cats i figured it wouldnt be too to bad. thanks for ur input.
What's wrong with the extreme? I've considered one.

nothing is wrong with the extreme mufflers, i might have had a defect one i think. my chamber inside broke on one side i think where it was welded. at low rpm sounds like **** but when i get on it sound goes away, but its very ugly sounding right now so i need to fix it before i go insane. i def recommend them to anyone just not the one on my truck lol. its only 8 months old too

When I bought my V10, it was a straight pipe from the cat. VERY LOUD! I put an Aero Turbine on it and calmed it down some. Now I want to get rid of the stock muffler on the 98 350. No one on this site seems to like the Aero Turbine, but most are not in CA.....

i personally never heard of them, but for a quick cheap fix right now im just gonna run a straight pipe to get rid of broken muffler sound. i dont have inspection til next september so i will worry about what tone i want then. i like loud and i love cherry bomb, but i will do that next year, so i guess straight pipe it is.
