I have a 01 2500 with a 6.0 5 speed that I want long tube headers on. Everyone talks about the Pacesetter headers but Summit has Hooker Headers 2851HKR available. Which headers are the best? I have run Hooker Headers before on a 92 Chevy but not the pacesetters. Any advice on which one?

I would look into OBX headers. I just got some for my truck and they look awesome. They are also the same design as the $1500 dynatechs, except the OBX have resonators instead of cats. So if you still need cats you would need to get the resonators pulled and cats welded in place. The OBX run about 500 but they also have the y pipe for your truck so you can bolt directly to your existing exhaust

pacesetter is a good header. have not heard any bad about them really.
I run OBX headers on my truck and like them. i don't know of anyone who has ran the Hooker system on their truck though.

I wasn't familiar with OBX, who carries them?
