So the power window and lock conversion is done, and the truck is in the body shop.
Time to make the soon to be installed Silverado door panels match (or tie in) with the Pontiac Bonneville buckets (4) I have swapped in.

The original stock Silverado piece.

The velour portion that's being replaced, pulled back.

I masked the arm rest, and the weather strip, then applied some spray glue. I decided to leave the weatherstrip in place, and tuck the new material behind this time. I have removed these before, and find they are hard to re attach, plus it's easy enough to bend away, and tuck the upholstrey behind.

I had the local trim shop match the material on the center of the seats, and lay some stitches in a yard of material with the same spacing as the center as the seats.

This is the leading edge of the striped velour portion.

I started by hot gluing the new sections to the leading edge.

I then tucked the material behind the armrest, and worked my way upward, to the top, and then behind the weatherstrip.

The back side rear of the panel, a little spray adhesive.

Now, I just need my truck back to install 'em.

Installed pics when I can. :dunno:
