i dont want to but i have to redo my exhaust. I have a 93 with a350 and dual exhaust with no cats and 12 inch glasspacks. i need to make it a little quieter and wanted to know what mufflers you would recomened. Im looking for a nice deep sound and to keep back pressure where it is now. Thanks

If you want the same design (straight through) without the extra volume you get from those small glass packs then you should look into Magnaflow mufflers or the Dynomax Ultra Flo muffler. Both options are straight through designs so they won't change the way your truck performs but won't be as loud as glasspacks.

ditch the glass packs for sure. Magnaflows sound like they might be the ticket for you. hell, even a Flowmaster with tailpipes can be very livable.

Hey thanks for the input. What do you guys think about ruining the thrush chambered mufflers, they seem to sound good and arent to pricey.

Thrush is made by Dynomax so you can't go wrong with that. I don't have any experience with Thrush other than their 18 inch glass packs so I can't comment on how they will sound.

thats what i figured and i heard a sound clip of them and they sound like flows. My other option is moroso spiral flows, they seem to sound good, has any one had experience with those?

Borla is mellow for the most part. Some flowmaster 50 series big blocks are very mellow and the hushpowers are shaped like a glasspack and tuned for a "mellow 50's tone" according to their webpage. Im a flowmaster guy.

Its the bigger of the bunch, but it has a nice deep tone to it.
This is another model. Both have tru-x cores.

These are SS, look around at there mild steel and other models.
I've had great luck with Magnaflow, now thats all I will run. I'm lookin for one right now :)

The Magnaflow cat-back I have (contains the 5x11x22 case muffler) is probably much quieter than what you are looking for... nevertheless, I've been very happy with the performance and tone. The shorter the case length, the louder the volume. I've heard many people that prefer more volume, like the 14" case length.
