head unit replacement

I am looking for an item that goes in place of the radio control unit on a 1988-1994 chevy truck. its basically a compartmet where you could put a wallet tapes or cd so you dont have to leave the unit in. a local dealer showed me one but he claims he can no longer get them. thought you guys could help.

Both circuit city and best buy, well, any car stereo shop for that matter should have what you are looking for. It is a black pocket that you put in there, runs $10-$15. BTW I know Metra is one of the companies that makes it.
