Gears or Bolt ons?

What's the best choice to make? Should I get 4.10 gears and eaton posi or a crank pulley and chip for my 1994 chevy 350?????

i want my truck to be quick. Right now i have stock 3.73s but its not posi. I have 275/15/60r tires

Id say the gears and posi, but thats just me.

yea that's what im thinking too, gears and posi, it would help out better the the pulley and chip probly

I wouldn't get the pulley, cam it and a set of longtubes with a flipped lid.

i wanted to go with a set of 4.88 gears about a year ago but they weren't on the market for a 14 bolt diff. ( 8 lug 3/4 ton axels ) but im in luck supirior and yukon make them now. just waiting to do my 411 pcm swap and gears at the same time so that take my truck to local speedshop and get a dyno tune.

14SF gears have been available for down to 5.13 for quite some time now.:dunno:

you're not going to see much gain going from 3.73s to 4.10s. what other mods have you done to the truck?

yea i agree i think the money you spend on a posi and gears can be spent better. 373s to 410s wont be that big of a dif. i say LTs and full exhaust will do u better...then add fans and so on

hell, from stock, shorties and a good exhaust will show you a good gain.
