I have a 94 GMc k1500 pickup. My cluster does not include the rpm tach, only has the speedometer, oil, temp, battery, and gas. If i was to buy a gauge cluster for like a 95(only ones I can find), what will I have to do to install it? Also my oil/bat/temp/gas is all in the 4 corners. Anyone know how to go about this, or any good sites to find one? Is my truck already prewired for the rpm tach, or do I have to wire it myself. Thanks

A 95 cluster won't physically fit into your dash.

The clusters compatible with your 94 are from the years of 92 through 94. It's more common to find a tach cluster on 94's than the other two years, so you just need to hunt a little harder.

As far as the wiring, it's the same, just get the cluster and put it in.

He`s right a 95 wont fit , but if you get a 91-94 with a tach it will work and most all trucks were prewired for a tach.
I changed mine out , I didnt have a Tach got one of Ebay with a Tach , put it in works great no problems.

92-94. Not 91. Completely different electronics. That's why I said 92-94. :D
