Alright, contemplating 45 degree tips instead of my 90 degrees now, so my tips now have a rolled edge and are 2.25 and are about 9 inches long probably.....
what if i switched to a 2.25x3.5 about 18 inches long, and no rolled edge?

What would be the sound change, also gonna switch from glasspacks to slp loudmouths for christmas!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

less resonation, probably less popping. 2.25 is smallish pipe, so it will pop more than a larger diameter will.

that will look like sh*t i hate small tips on trucks. get the 4" diameter 15 degree cut rolled edge.

Camaro tips or save the money and hide the exit with a turndown somewhere. I prefer a clean look and have never been a fan of the 90 or 45 exits, but that's just me and I know I'm different:aniteef:

the biggest sound change you see is from the muffler change.

how bout this tip? would it give me the same resonating sound like my tips now?

a rolled edge will help with teh resonating sound.

so the same as mine now, just a little longer and has a 28 degree slash? correct? or is this deeper etc?

i am with american Z71 on this one. get a bit bigger diameter.

i had 3" tips,thought they were to small. i have 3.5's now and they are as small as i would go agian.

4" is a great diameter. anything bigger on a gas truck like 5" will just sound like you dropped your gf's vibrator down a storm drain.
