I just bought myself a Miller 180 w/autoset and want to make a cart for it, i've been looking around on the net a little bit but couldn't find too many different ideas.
Please post some pics of you guys' welding carts
Thanks

At work we have a cart that's made exhaust pipe and plywood. Two 180 bends using a 5" radius, one with legs longer than the other so you can use it as a handle. Welded 4 L shaped brakets on to mount the plywood shelf that the welder sits on. Bottom shelf was from an older welding cart that fell apart, just welded in. Welded on 4 old swivle wheels. From my experience, its better than all the other expensive carts we have because none seem to have a decent handle to push them around.

I already came up with kinda my own idea. And i love how it came out. I just picked up some more metal and gonna make 1 or 2 shelves on there still to put my gloves, helmet etc on.

I reckon I'm not professional enough, I don't have a pic of the setup, but I found an old shopping cart and set the lincoln in it with a helmet rack poking up from behind the welder.
It does the job, but it ain't pretty. I've been meaning to build a fancy cart, but just don't have the motivation for it.

It's the first thing i wanted to do when i bought the welder 2weeks ago, building a cart for it so the cylinder was secured to something, and i wanted the welder at a nice height. I hate having my workspace messy, needs to be clean and organized.

Thats a pretty nice one. You can just use some chain to secure the bottle, with slots to fit the chain in. We welded some J hook exhaust hangers on the side to hang the gun on. We also have an acetylene torch on one of those half length shopping carts with the basket taken off.

I know you can use a chain, but that's not very tight, and i wanted it to be tight against the cart. We have a couple big hose clamps laying around that i used one from that fit perfectly around the cylinder, and welded a bolt on the cart to tie it around.

I forgot to mention, I don't have a wire feed that requires gas. I just have an old lincoln tombstone style stick welder. It fits nice and snug in the cart with plenty of room for rods/gloves and other misc stuff.
I need to build a torch cart, but haven't done it yet. So I'm using a 2 wheel dolly with a couple of bungee cords at the bottom and a piece of cable at the top that tightens up with one of the things(I can't remember the name) that have 2 eye bolts that screw in and out together, only one end is a hook. It keeps everything in place.
