Here are some pictures of the exhaust setup I did on my 05 silverado using 2 spintech pro street mufflers. I hope to get some video soon (when I get my hands on a video camera) for the exhaust video thread.

Excellent pictures. That was clever how you routed the two pipes after the mufflers and managed to pull off the well positioned tips. If I'm not mistaken, it looks like you went with stainless steel for the mufflers and also the tail pipes. You will thank yourself years from now for doing that.
I wonder how much different if at all that sounds compared to a setup like mine, which has just one pro street muffler.

Yep its all stainless. For my old truck I bought an Edelbrock catback which held up well but did eventually rust out. After that I swore that I would go with stainless only so I wont be throwing as much money away in the long run.
edit: you can see the clamps I went with... did this figuring if I ever get bored and want to switch things up I will have an easier time working with my mufflers again.

Looks like that would sound nasty (which is good btw). And what kind of tips are those? They look like what Nascars run so I think that setup not only looks like it would sound good but looks mean as hell too, I like it.
Sure beats my single glasspack and dump.

What kind of price did you get on the muflers? I am looking at adding muflers but I don't really want to spend much that is why it is straight right now.

When I ordered mine they wanted 85.00 for your standard steel version but I opted for the 150.00 stainless steel just like the ones you see in the pics in this thread.

The Tips... heck I'm not sure really, just what I had pictured using in my head and found them sitting on the walls at the shop where we worked on the system.
To be honest I never originally planned to do the exhaust this way (normally I prefer dual straight out under rear bumper), but I changed my mind last minute and decided to be different.
Entire cost: $550.
The mufflers are full 304 stainless and were $320 shipped to my house in NJ. The rest of the install was done at a fraction of the normal cost because I worked with my exhaust guy on it. But cost of tips, labor, and stainless pipe came to $230.
It took a little time to get use to the system because it is louder and does have some drone, but after driving it for a week I have become use to it and really do enjoy it now.
It is not as loud as you would expect (I've heard gto's and vette's louder) but it has the exact sound I was looking for.
I will post some sound clips and video as soon as I can get my hands on a video camera (a cell phone clip does not do it any justice at all).

Some people tend to frown on the clamped pipes, but I'm with you on the "switching thing". My whole system is clamped as well. I'm wanting to get some of the clamps like you used. I've seen them at Summit, but dont know anyone with them. Did they seal things up nicely? Are they Stainless as well?
Not trying to threadjack you or anything :jacked:
These are some pics of my 2 yr old Stainless system.
You absolutely will not regret going with Stainless.

These are the Walker/Dynomax clamps in Summit. Overall I believe they sealed up very well. I was surprised because the bends in my system did not mesh well with the clamps, which made the clamps too big for some areas and the bends for the lap joints were off. But it turned out, that if you tighten them up enough with an air ratchet they will shrink and conform to any differences. There are no leaks as of yet, but then again the system is only a week old. The pro who helped me out with it all was a little skeptical in using them for he prefers welds (especially in my setup), but we figured we'd try it anyway and it has worked out fine.
Those clamps are stainless. According to Walker/Dynomax they are 304. I purchased these through summit, after getting them to price match rockauto's price (had to twist some arms).
In the end I would recommend them for they have worked out well for me so far, and they do not crimp anything in the system like the standard horseshoe clamp, which makes everything much easier/ more flexible should you decide to change or remove anything.
These are some pics of my 2 yr old Stainless system.
Lol must say, your 2 year old system looks cleaner and newer than my two day old system.
Overall my only regret is that now I will probably have to go under my truck with a toothbrush to keep it as clean and new looking as I can.

The beauty of Stainless is if it goes too long without a cleaning, you can just Scotchbrite it back to nice again, then throw some polish on the really shiny parts.

I love the look of stainless once it gets hot and turns the purple/brownish orange color thought the mufflers will never get that hot i just wanted to state that.

I'm going to be running two super pro street mufflers on my 1996 after this winter. LT4 hotcam to longtubes with catless mids to those super pro streets ran out the back.
She should sound mean! Lookin forward to a video on that.

That does sound like a mean setup. I was back and forth on the pro and super pro and then I recalled how quiet my truck was when I fired it up after the header install with just the factory y-pipe, no cat-back. I figured I needed to go as vocal as I could get and I could always back it down later on if it's too loud. As of now, I have no intentions of doing that. Since your setup won't have any cats, you will be happier with the super pro streets.
