07 chevy silverado (new body) awd need help

I am looking for a 2 inch lower kit for the rear to make it level, but all I am finding is a 2.5 inch lift for the front and I want to lower the rear. Any suggestions. My truck is a 2007 chevy silverado crew cab awd z71(new body style) auto 5.3 with stock 18s.

Removing the block is free and gives you an 1.25 inch drop, and a 2" drop shackle from autoanything is like a $100.

Can someone explain more on this? Sounds like what I'm after too.

Just kind of want a reverse leveling kit. Can the block just be removed without having to do anything else?
No need for shorter u-bolts, or angled shims for pinion angle?

Thanks. But I got impatient and pulled the blocks already. Wouldn't mind another inch, but it worked good being free.
