ive got an 86 k20 with a 350 sb w/ 305 heads. i was wondering if anyone has ever had any of the following problems i've had wit headers: i bought a set of dynomax's first, and even with shorty plugs, angled boots, boot head covers, and tube wrap, number 1 primary was so close to number 3 plug that it burned wires every 4 weeks religiously. i called dynomax, they sent me my money back, and i went out and bought a set of the cheaper hedmans, clearance problems all good as far as the plugs go, but now they rub the spring shackles. i've seen one other truck wit the hedmans, and his were rubbing the shaclkles too, has anyone else ever had these problems?

i also have seen that the hooker comps are good too. i pretty much fixed the problems already, the drivers side wasnt hitting the shackle bad at all so i left that one on, and i took the hedman off the p side and put the dynomax back on with the ball collector off the hedman, so now i have one hedman and one dyno max lol.:aniteef: i was just curious if anyone has had the same problems.

flowtech and dynomax are the same headers...at least they were for my 68 GMC. Mine are great, plugs are easy to change, no wires burn. But the passenger side needs some clearencing so i can put the front driveshaft back in. other than that i had no complaints with flowtech/dynomax.
