View Full Version : Removing cv's on Tahoe??????

Im thinking of removing the cv's and disabling the transfer case.
1. Is this possible?
2. Whats involved?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Why? If you run the truck with no CVs your hubs WILL fail. You have two options. Option 1 is to get 2WD hubs. Option 2 is to get junk CVs and remove the outer CV joint so you can put them back in the hub to hold your hub bearing in place.

I have CV removed/modified and still working fine man.....

There's a difference. YOURS are modified hence option 2 in my post. He wants to remove it altogether.

thats what i was asking. whats involved in removing them. what types of mods will i have to do?
