Which muffler

2004 chev duramax, I want a good sound with added performance.
Although not to loud that may rumble the interior or wake the neighbors. Any ideas? Thanks....

go with magna-flow could not be any better, I have a 8.1 gas engine which well sound about the same as your engine. :fsc:

Dynomax. I put one on my Suburban since the passenger compartment sits on top of the muffler and it's real quiet at idle and cruise, but has a decent bark on when you jump on the gas. Flowmasters are popular but they're noisy, not a good choice unless you like to talk really loud.

Flowmaster 50 series would be a good choice also. Not as loud as the 40 series, but enough to know its there.
