Yeah id check the fuse first. Even if by just looking at it it looks fine grab your meter and wiggle it around and test on both sides of it. Check make sure your ground is good as well. Seen way too many cases of people using 3 of the half inch self tappers and comin loose. Hope that helps!

check voltage, AT the amp when your hammering on it...sounds like it may be shutting down, due to low voltage...(not big enough power wire, etc)

isnt from lack of power.... does it when i have the bass up or down. have a cap, optima batt, with big 3 upgrade as well.
could it be because of extreme cold? i havent been playing my subs much anyway because of how cold the weather is.
checked the fuse, its ok.
just wish i had a heated garage and not literally chill outside in -30 wind chill, ha

well if the power light is going out, the amps loosing power...lack of voltage, could also be pinched wire, etc...

Amp going bad? Do you have another amp or a buddies you could try with all the same wiring and see if it works alright.

I had two JL 12's one time and that atarted happening. Turned out that I had a loose voice coil wire on one of the subs that would swing over and ground everything out.
