Yep kinda what I thought!! LOL Now this summer 3.73 gears. New heads, have to decide on AFR or Brodix 180's or cheap Edelbrock rpms and A comp XFI268 roller. THat should put it into the low 14's I would hope. No sense going to the track untill then?? Anyone else got any other estimates now or after these mods?? LOL

gears should really help if you can get it to hook. LOL

Getting it to hook shouldnt be a problem, I work at a tire/Autoshop so tires are cheap and I can get slicks as well. It would be breaking the rearend I would be worried about even with a small amount of Hp. Now I just need to get some extra cash for the AFR heas i want!!

with those gears, throw on some short rear tires to bring down the gear ratio. Should run good.

just buy a used supercharger or sts sytem with your current set up plus the new 3.73's and you'll be in 13's if you hook up

You might break into the 15's. Probably low 16's.

Get some 4.56's and that would be a fun truck for sure! You'd surprise a lot of people with those gears :read: (and cut at least a second off your 1/4 mile)
