mounting kit and harness for 05 z71

i would like to take my panasonic cd player out of my 95 c1500 and put it in my 2005 Z71 . what instalation mounting kit and Harness will i need for that .and is. it pretty easy to rplace in an 05 . I know my 95 only took me 20 min Max . the only reason i am changing is because the factory cd in the 05 does not play mp3's . any help would be great , also would the mounting kit and harness from the 95 fit a 05 . thanks

The dash kit is gonna b a metra 99-2003. the wire harness can be one of two different ones. To retain your door chime and you retained accessory power you need the metra gmrc-01. If you are not worried about that stuff you can use the metra 70-2003 and just run your switch power for the deck to the ignition harness and save yourself some cash.
