Need these subs to fit

I have 2 12" kicker l5 subs that I need to make fit under the back seat. I want to put them in a sealed box so that i can build the box smaller. I did some really fast approximate measurements under the seat and it looks like i can fit a box with about 1.4 cubic feet under the rear seat. Two of the L5 subs need about 1.8 cubic feet minimum. So that means I need to raise the rear seat some in order to get more cubic feet. If I was to raise the rear seat 3 inches I could get a 2 cubic foot box under the seat. Can I raise the seat 3 inches, or is that pushing it? Are my calculations even close? Did any of what I just typed make any scene? lol

I dont think you will be close to getting 1.4 cubes under your rear seat for each sub at stock height. I raised my seats 2" and barely got 1.4 cubes. It all depends on if you go past your seats or not and how much space you leave between the sub and the surface it will fire against. Best of luck to ya though.
