What kind a difference did your stall converter make at the drag strip?
1/4 mile & 60' improvements...

depending on how radical you go they can make a world of differance! Traction becomes an issue so it goes hand in hand with what you will gain! In simple terms think of that you are leaving the line with 175 hp instead of 125 sine you are higher in the rpm rang, thus the motor is producing more hp.

What motor is this going behind?

I've seen guys drop .3-.5 off their ET from just a stall.

Bruno did you already send your trans out? I had mine done as good or better than there level 4 and saved Lot of money! Have a friend who does trannies for my buddies mud bogger. let me know where you are and I can get you a price. I promise it is much less than the flt and just as good or better.

Yeah a good converter will take off .3-.5 off your 1/4 ET. Your 0-60 should drop close to that also. Just don't have too much with it.

What is too much fun? I can't wait for the roads to dry out. I got my trans back in last night but couldn't really play since i had my kids in the truck. Now it is snowing like the dickens!

Does this company have a website? The following place is where I'm thinking of getting mine from (level 3) when it goes. www.transmissioncenter.net

wildhorsestable.com look under sponsors. Problem is that we are closing the web site is down because jay no longer races in the mud. My youtube channel is http://www.youtube.com/custmaltima.

As far as JR transmissions having a web site they don't. If you are really interested, pm me and I will talk with Joe and see a price. Also I can get exact specs that he built mine too if you need them.

Yeah a good converter will take off .3-.5 off your 1/4 ET. Your 0-60 should drop close to that also. Just don't have too much with it.

.1 in the 60' is worth .2 on the big end.

I shaved .25' off my 60' and .5 off my et, with my current converter.
