I got thinking about what I was told by someone on here, that bushings are much better than heim joints. If you run bushings what gives when the axle is articulating? If the right tire is 4 inches higher than the left I don't see what is going to allow the axle to twist. Will the bushings have enough give? I want to have side to side, plus in normal driving conditions an axle can articulate 4 inches or more.

Subscribed. I'm in the same boat with my build. Mind if I glom on?

After setting up a demo 4 inches doesn't seem like too big of an angle. I think the bushing would have enough flex in them. My bags have 6+ inches of stroke. I am still very curious what is going to happen if I run bushings.
I want Polly bushings but they don't give much so that seems to be anti productive right now.

I talked with a guy at work who has built two 4 link set ups for his mud bogger and his dad's. They worked great and he used bushings. The bushing gives plenty. Using poly is also fine he said. That is what he used and it still flexed enough. I will post pics when I get mine done.
