i have an o3 lb7 which i have programmed with the hypertech programmer, but i recently broke the actual programmer. if i am interested in getting a new programmer, will it program over the hypertech or will it be a problem to remove the programming which is "stuck" right now?

Thats a good question. Call Hypertech, and every other tuning company that you are interested in and find out. I am interested too so let us know

Leave it until you get your new programmer. When you do run your truck by the dealer and have it re-flashed to stock before installing the new one

For someone who just jumped into this forum all of a sudden you sure seem to think you know a lot.

the dealer will touch it. they will just flash the system to return the ecu to stosk form. then you can install a new program.

x2, the dealer wont care what tuning is in there, they will just flash over with the newest program. they may charge you but it will still be cheaper than getting a new programmer.
