I own a two door 2wd tahoe a buddy of mine wants to trade me some 22's plus 300$ for my stocks which seems to be a good deal. I was wondering if they will tuck. They are 265/35 r22 102v thanks in advance guys!

You might want to ask your buddy what BS (back spacing) are the wheels ? That number would be helpful in determining as to whether the wheels will tuck on your HOE.

A forum member bought a set for his OBS Suburban. I think his research said they'd be fine, but when he got them, they wouldn't mount on the truck because the lug pattern was off from the manufacturer.

Yup that will be your problem. The lug pattern. If you want go to http://tirefactory.com/virtualwheels.cfm and find the rims of your friend. Or even just the brand. That simulator will tell you if that rim will fit or will match your tire. X above the rim = no and Check means yes. (obvious)

What I meant from my comment is the manufacturer had a batch that was wrong, 1 mounting hole was off by a few MM. If they're already on a vehicle that shouldn't be a problem. I stress shouldn't, still could be.
