this is a very ****ty video clip, but this is when i had it on my yukon til the baffle became loose in side i dirched it and went with their new glasspack. towards end i only got to 3500 rpm because i was being respectful lol..everything is stock except the muffler

I got one on my 4.3. Nobody ever knows it's a V6. Even people with trained ears think it's at least a 305. It doesnt sound great at real high rpms, but it will if you have a v8. It's definitely loud, and has a lot of pop coming off the throttle.

I bought the muffler, then had my local exhaust shop do the work. The girl is my wife. My truck has an L33 HO motor(better heads, more compression, and a bigger cam) so when it idles down it has a little lope. She gets giggley around stuff like that.

close to it probably. if not maybe a little louder...
it all depends on your motor and headers/manifolds. if you like it go for it.

I dont have a clip but have one and it is loud, deep and mean as can be.

I have LT's and high flow cat with single 3" exhaust out in front of rear tire.

It is not for the faint hearted and if you dont want noise in the cab forget it.

everybody loves it and compliments me on it.
I have been told I was heard from about 1/2 mile away.

there is a member on here who works for them, don't remember their name, but he said he could get a discount for members.

IMO hornblaster are not worth the extra money. cost to much for what you get. granted, it is a good horn and air system, but i got my siege kit alot cheaper adn still has a great air system and the horn is decent as well.

Quick couple questions

How loud is it in the cab? Is it an annoying drone or is it just the sound of the exhaust.

It is tough to tell from the clips but how loud are they really? Lets put it this way were I live our houses are a driveways width from each other at night we can hear each others TV's will this be so loud i will piss off all my neighbors?

I don't mind if it is loud on acceleration but when it is at idle or backing out of the driveway and warming up in the winter I don't want to drive the neighbors mad!

What do you think?

stock manifolds with cats and the muffler should be ok maybe

its gunna be loud but idling around will probably be fine, if you have to go uphill to leave your driveway then yes every house will be able to hear it inside but probably would not wake them up if you know what i mean

Thanks for the info

I was thinking that if it ends up being "too loud" (for the neighbors anyway) I would get a couple of those Pacesetter Monza rezonated exhaust tips (they have glasspack guts) or even maybe a pair of short glaspacks with those new chrome inserts from cherry bomb to use as tips. That might make it just right if it turns out that the neighborhood forms a lynch mob!

yeah it is pretty loud, but at idle is not bad really. cold start ups can be kinda loud though.

inside the cab mine has always droned. mine has a bad drone around 55 mph right now, but otherwise it is just a nice exhaust tone in the cab

Mine only seems to drone on acceleration. It's not too loud unless your getting on it. Once the TC locks up, it's just a nice mellow rumble, until you get to like 80 mph, then it gets loud again.

I thought about doing the same thing with the cherry bomb glasspacks and inserts, but I was happy with the sound. Those tips look nice in person.

i have 2 of them, 2.5 inch duals from the headers back, and its loud, nice deep tone, and screams when you get on it

I have two on my 85, I dont have a clip but will soon..Even with cats it is pretty loud, much louder than the old 40 series flows I had on their before. I have them dumped before the axle, it is LOUD, both inside and out. I leave for school before sunrise every morning and usually let it warmup for 5-6 min on high idle. No complaints yet. Be prepared for drone though. At 3/4 throttle or above the thing just screams, sometimes it makes me jump its so radical.

Thanks guys.

I think I will go for it and if it is too loud I will go with the glasspack tips.

Damn I can't beleive I'm worried about it being too loud. I guess it's my age showing!

I had a mustang back in the day I dropped a 351 w in. Headers, straight pipes no mufflers, no cats. I remember being bummed that it was to quiet and I had no way of making it louder! Times have changed!
