i put my boat in the pond in my neighborhood, when i went to back the trailer down on the bank my truck just sank, before i could iven put it in 4wd the back passenger tire was halfway in the ground, and it was that chocolate puddin lookin mud=no traction at all. and it wasnt the ford that got me out, it was the winch on the ford!

whole thing took about 4 hrs, we tryed pullin with a Z71 on 285 ats, a Z71 with 35 MTs, then the 2 of those together, finally the guy with the winch came, he tryed to pul me with the winch but he kept slidin on dry ground even, so we put it on the tree and she came right out.

Well that kinda sucks. Got mine stuck the other day too for the first time. BTW, did you walk down and check it out, before you started backing up.

no, but everything around it was dry, spot was just a little bit lower like a little pit, but its usually real dry back there but i didnt even think to check it, but it had been rainin all week. even if i did check it i dont think i could have know that it was that soft

there was so much mud dried on the inside of the wheels that i couldnt go over about 40mph or the truck would start shakin real bad, needless to say all 4 wheels came off and got cleaned and all the front and rear suspension is squeeky clean now

yeah we got alot of rain, but this was after a solid 36 hours of sun, no i didnt catch anything, and yeah i should have just picked it up, but i was tryin to get the trailer closer to the bank, you can see in the pictures while i was waitin i got the boat out of the water.

What that Z71 to much for the ford he had use the tree to stop him from moving his poor King Ranch?
