Getting differential fluid out of your carpet

It reaks in my truck literally a head ache every time i ride. Any suggestions im contemplating just ripping it out its an entire quart of it so any suggestions would help

I think removing the carpet is the only effective way to clean something like that.

You can try a degreaser in a carpet cleaner to get at it from the surface but that sounds like a mess.

Your better off just replacing the carpet and make sure you degrease the floor real good. That stuff spilled in my toolbox and it took two bottles of straight simple green and a pack of air freshners.

My friend has the same problem in his Geo tracker and he has sprayed countles bottles of air freshener into the carpet and steam cleaned it and degreased the heck out of it, but the smell is still there. not as much anymore but, i would say the best thing to do is rip the carpet out. Its a pain but its the best way to do it.
